This has been rotting away in my wishlist ever since its release; take these words as an oath that this will not happen again. Grima and the accordeon, what a wonderful story. Although it's only used sparingly on Rotten Garden, it adds an unique touch of Russian folklore to the music. I enjoy the overall sound a ton - like sitting around a warm campfire on a frozen, enchanted forest glade in the middle of the darkest night. Thrumming bass, ferocious vocals - and accordeon. Grand atmosphere.

Even with their first effort Grima were able to create everything one could expect from an atmospheric black metal album and gave it to the listener who can easily get lost in the cold melodies of these grim but beautiful moods.

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music.
